「無料通話取得作戦」の有効性① ― 2011/03/22 20:14
大げさな名称をつけましたが、要するに、どうすれば”いかに低価格でより多くの無料通話分を確保できるか”ということです。
大まかな手順は次の通りです。
【一ヶ月目】
①１日より無料通話分のあるプランへ変更
②数日後、シンプルプランへ変更
（日割り計算で、無料通話分も残る）
【二ヶ月目】
③シンプルプランのまま継続
（前月の無料通話分でしのぐ）
【三ヶ月目】（もし、無料通話が十分残っているなら）
④シンプルプランのまま継続
（前月の無料通話分でしのぐ。多少の超過は覚悟？）
※ただし、パケット通信はメールだけを前提とします。
この作戦がうまくゆくかどうかのポイントは、次の３点でしょう。大まかな手順は次の通りです。

よって、この間のメールの使用量によっては、割高になるかも。

日割り計算による部分が発生するので、プラン変更のタイミングが重要です。
こう書くと、なんだか、面倒な感じです。
これだけでは分かりにくいので、私の１～３月までの３ヶ月間の利用状況を、まとめてみます。
【１月】
１日から２４日まで、タイプＳ
２５日から３１日まで、タイプシンプル
基本使用料￥１，３２６ で、無料通話分￥１，５４９
通話料￥７４２
パケット通信料￥１９８（定額料を含む）

※定額料は含みませんでした。月の途中からタイプシンプルに変更すると、月初からタイプシンプルであったのと同じようにパケット通信料が計算されます。

タイプシンプル（基本使用料￥７４３）
通話料￥２８０
【３月】
タイプシンプル（基本使用料￥７４３）
通話料￥１８０（２１日現在）
無料通話分 残り￥３２２
こうやって書くと、分かりにくいかもしれませんが、仮に三ヶ月間、最初に取得した無料通話分で足りるとするならば、最初の月（１月）だけを見れば良い事になります。
無料通話分￥１，５４９を、取得するために、いったいいくらの出費があったかを考えれば良いでしょう。
すると、１月の基本使用料は、￥１，３２６で、２、３月の￥７４３よりも￥５８３高く、パケット通信料（定額料）￥１９８が余分に掛かっているので、その差額は￥７８１となります。（次式）
￥１，３２６－￥７４３＋￥１９８ ＝ ￥７８１
無料通信分￥１，５４９を取得する為に、￥７８１を使ったといえます。（逆に言えば、￥７８１で￥１，５４９分の通話ができる。）
単純に計算すると、￥７６８得をしたという事になるのですが、どうでしょう？
３ヶ月を通して￥７６８の得、という事は、一ヶ月にしたら約￥２５０と決して大きな金額ではありませんが、”作戦”の効果はあるといえるのでしょう。
恐らく、月々の通話料がもっと多い人ならば、より多くの差額が発生すると思うので、お得感は高いかもしれません。
ただし、通話料が多い人ほど、毎月の通話料金をあらかじめ推定するのが難しいと思うので、”作戦の遂行”には、注意が必要でしょう。
さて、一定の効果が確認できたので、次の課題は、「必要な無料通話分を確保しつつ、メール無料の期間を延ばす」方法を考えます。
今回、１月はタイプＳの期間が２４日間ありました。
この間のメールはパケット料金として加算されるので、この日数は短いに越したことはありません。
パケット定額料以内の利用であっても、定額料の日割り分が発生するので、できるだけ早くシンプル・プランに変更した方が良さそうです。
