仕事柄、ラジオを聴いている事が多いのですが、ちょっと気なる、というか”気にさわる”ＣＭをたびたび耳にします。
民放連（日本民間放送連盟）による、「ＳＴＯＰ温暖化」のＣＭです。
よくよく調べてみると、ＴＶ用のＣＭもあり、３パターンあることが分かりました。
このページの一番下に、YouTubeの動画を貼り付けてあるので、気になる方はご覧下さい。
さて、冒頭の”気にさわる”というのは、やはりその内容が、極端で、ジョークにしては微妙な感じであり、また真面目に温暖化の問題を提起しているようにも見えるところです。
失敗した「アメリカン・ジョーク」とでも言えば良いのでしょうか？
このブログの中心的な話題に関連する、古代の人々の暮らしを知るようになると、気候の変動というものが、大きな転機となり、発展にも衰退にも繋がる重要な要素であることが分かります。
そう考えると、現在騒がれている温暖化の問題も、原因や質の違いはあれど、気にならない訳はありません。
ここ数年、毎年のように「異常気象」という言葉を耳にします。
確かに、例年とはちょっと違う気候、気象であるとは感じるのですが、暮らしぶりに大きな影響を与えているとは思えません。
これは環境の変化を軽視しているのではありません。
環境の変化を、技術によって緩和していると言いたいのです。 いくら猛暑といっても、冷房の効いた室内は、快適そのものです。
さて、ＣＭの話に戻りますが、環境の変化を、技術によって緩和するどころか、克服しているのではないかと感じるのです。
コスト的な問題を除けば、現在の技術で解決できないことはない気がします。
問題は、このＣＭを見て、”困ったことになる”と思わない人が少なくないのではないかと思うのです。
何しろ克服しているのですから。
実際に、このＣＭのような環境になったと考えたとき、そのＣＭの舞台となる地域を局所的に見れば問題を克服できているかもしれませんが、これが地球規模であれば、食糧の問題を始めとして克服できない問題は、たくさんあるはずです。
そう考えると、有り得ない状況であり、そういった観点からも説得力はありません。
また、古代人の行動という観点から見ると、（比較的）普通に生活できる地域へ移動すると考える方が自然です。
もちろん、そのような地域が存在するとしても、限られた狭い範囲でしょうから、その地域を奪い合うという問題が起こりえます。そう考えると、問題に際限がありません。
結果として、下手なジョークともいえるＣＭですが、こうやって”気にさわる”人間がいる訳ですから、一定のＣＭ効果があったとも言えます。
