燃費向上運転術⑤－燃費向上のアクセルワーク（２） ― 2009/10/05 17:50
なかなかまとまった形で書くことができそうも無いので、部分的な話しになりますが、逆にどのような状況にも応用ができるとも言えるので、試してみて下さい。
今回は、加速が終了する直前から、一定速度をキープするまでの、ほんの数秒間の話です。
なお、アクセルの開度（踏み具合）を示すのに、Ａ０～Ａ１０という記号を用いています。その意味については、次の記事を参照してください。

平坦な道で、加速終了時の速度が、４０ｋｍ／ｈ以上であれば、瞬間燃費が４０ｋｍ／Ｌに近づくことも可能です。 もちろん、その状態を長く維持することは不可能に近いのですが、まずは、加速終了時点でいかに高い瞬間燃費に持っていくかが重要です。
また、加速終了時に、アクセルをパッと「Ａ０」まで戻してしまえば良いと思うかもしれませんが、それは時と場合による、という感じです。
比較的確実に、そしてスムーズに高い燃費を実現できるのが、上記のようなゆっくりとアクセルを戻す方法なのでは、というのが私の実感です。
